PEACEHEALTH SIGNS AGREEMENT TO UPGRADE TO STREAMLINE HEALTH'S ACCESSANYWARE® V5.1

Cincinnati, Ohio – October 4, 2011 — Streamline Health Solutions, Inc. (NasdaqCM: STRM), a leading provider of enterprise and departmental document management solutions and business process workflows for healthcare, announced today that PeaceHealth, a regional healthcare system serving rural, suburban, and urban communities in Alaska, Washington, and Oregon, has signed an agreement through Streamline Health's strategic partner, GE Healthcare, to upgrade to AccessAnyWare v5.1. As part of the agreement the solution will be implemented in PeaceHealth's hospitals and clinics in 2012.

AccessAnyWare v5.1 utilizes modular architecture which leverages components across the framework allowing for increased product development cycles and improved support, as well as simplified deployments. The new architecture will also allow for enhanced performance by allowing other internal systems, including EMR systems, to leverage the open architecture. By utilizing one framework it will also decrease the amount of time and expense clients previously spent training new personnel on multiple systems.

Robert Watson, president and chief executive officer of Streamline Health, commented, "Our product team is focused on developing technologies that give our clients as much flexibility and scalability as possible. Their efforts have resulted in a next generation product that provides enhanced features and functionality, and gives Streamline Health the ability to provide better and faster product development and support to our clients. The new release will provide a solid foundation for our future product development, and we're pleased that PeaceHealth has decided to upgrade to this new version."

Vickie Schraudner, PeaceHealth System Director for HIM, said, "We have been successfully using AccessAnyWare and Streamline Health's workflows for years. We are looking forward to the additional features and capabilities this new release will provide, including the simplified installation and reduced downtimes for upgrades and patches, as well as enhanced built-in efficiency processes. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Streamline Health."
